How do I know I need to have my wheels aligned?

  1. PULLING – If your vehicle starts to pull to the left or the right

  2. VIBRATING – If your steering wheel feels like it is vibrating

  3. WANDERING – If your vehicle doesn’t move straight ahead when the wheel is centered or wanders to the right or left

  4. WEARING – If your tires show signs of uneven wear

If you’re experiencing any of these signs, it’s time to have your vehicle aligned by certified technicians. Proper alignment requires sophisticated, computerized equipment to ensure the job is done right.

How often should I have my wheels aligned?

Preventative maintenance will go a long way. It’s best to follow your vehicle’s manufacturing recommendation (see your owner’s manual) for how often you should have your wheels aligned.  As a general rule, we encourage our customers to have their alignment checked at least once a year or every 10,000 miles.

Why is vehicle alignment so important?

  1. EXTEND THE LIFE OF YOUR TIRES – When your wheels are misaligned, it usually leads to uneven tire wear. With regular alignment your tires will naturally last longer.

  2. DRIVING SAFETY – If your vehicle is pulling to the left or the right, your control and handling will be impaired.

  3. COMFORT – When proper alignment, there’s no fighting the steering wheel from pulling from side to side. Correct wheel alignment helps create a smoother ride because road shock is efficiently absorbed.

  4. SAVE MONEY – Proper wheel alignment helps increase your gas mileage, extends the life of your tires and also helps detect worn out suspension parts before they become an expensive problem.

At Don’s, we pride ourselves on investing in state-of-the-art alignment equipment and road force balancing tools to ensure our customers get a smooth ride.
