Position: Class A or B Automotive Technician

Don's Auto Service in Belchertown, MA, is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team in a full-time position.  Located on Route 9 in Belchertown, we're committed to quality, innovation, and customer service.  Family-owned and operated for more than 60 years, we've recently expanded our facility and are looking for a motivated and reliable technician to help meet our demand. Must have 2+ years of experience as a Class A or B Technician with experience working with various makes and models, Diesel experience a plus.  The shop is equipped with the most up-to-date tools and equipment, including GM & Ford factory scanners. Very competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities:

• Examine vehicles based on customer statements and determine appropriate repairs needed with efficiency and Don's high-level standard, verify the problem and then solve it.

• Communicate with team members and customers effectively.

 

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Class A or B Technician, Diesel a plus

• ASE Certification preferred

• Excellent communications skills

• Team player

• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Schedule/Compensation:

No weekends, Monday - Friday: 7 am - 5 pm
